The below leaders have earned our Dementia Capable Care Specialist (DCCS) Credential (and have agreed to have their name listed in our online registry).  

These leaders have earned this recognition by successfully completing one of the two programs taught by a Dementia Care Specialists Global Professional Instructor, through a combination of online learning modules and a live virtual training session. 

  • Dementia Capable Care, 2nd Edition Certified Instructor training program (10 hrs. of training) 
  • Dementia Capable Care Specialist Credential program (8 hrs. of training) 

  Successful completion includes: 

  • Application of the content through a variety of classroom activities. 
  • Scoring a passing grade on the credential program exam. 
  • Pledging an earnest commitment as a leader within a dementia capable workforce to advocate for a dementia capable society.
