The below leaders have earned our Dementia Capable Care Certified Instructor (DCC-CI) Credential (and have agreed to have their name listed in our online registry).  

These leaders have earned this recognition by successfully completing Dementia Capable Care, 2nd Edition Certified Instructor training program taught by a Dementia Care Specialists Global Professional Instructor. Successful completion includes: 

  • Completed Dementia Capable Care, 2nd Edition Certified Instructor training program which includes 10 hrs. of training through a combination of online learning modules and a live virtual training session.  
  • Application of the content through a variety of classroom activities. 
  • Teaching a component of the Dementia Capable Care, 2nd Edition program to their classmates and peers 
  • Scoring a passing grade on the Certified Instructor exam. 
  • Pledging an earnest commitment to create a dementia capable workforce and society. 

These leaders train others using approved training materials in accordance with the Certified Instructor agreement, to help create a dementia capable workforce.
