Login to our On-line Education and Support Community User Name    Password     Register Dementia Training: Intermediate Workshop Dementia Therapy: Intermediate Class This course was designed for the Occupational Therapist/COTA, Physical Therapist/PTA and Speech Therapist who has some experience using the Allen Cognitive Disabilities Model with the geriatric dementia patient. This course will challenge the therapist to achieve a greater understanding of how to apply both the Allen Model and the Theory of Retrogenesis to evaluation, treatment intervention, documentation and programming. There will be teaching emphasis on assessing, treating and documenting for patients with comorbidities, with special emphasis on psychiatric comorbidities. This course uses multiple challenging case study lab sessions to build the skill and confidence of the dementia therapist.
